There is so much to be done and so many wonderful people to get to know! It can be a bit overwhelming, and the language barrier can really bog you down.
Our founder knows how this feels! When he first arrived in Haiti, in 2014, he had been studying the language on his own for several months, but still hardly understood anything anyone was saying.
He found that resources for learning the language were slim to none, because it is only spoken by one people on earth, Haitians!
Four hard months later, he was speaking to patients and training health workers in Creole! Through ZWAZO you can learn everything he wished he had known before he arrived on the island!
ZWAZO was founded with a double social impact model:
